The Credo of the Wayfinder

"It's difficult to know where you're going if you don't know where you are, and where you've been."

In Hawaiian culture, a Wayfinder is a skilled navigator who uses their deep knowledge and intense observational skills to find their way to their destination. I became acquainted with wayfinding through the movie Moana, where I watched the princess sail a boat for the first time. She had never sailed before, but was persistent, insistent, determined, and courageous. No matter how many times she got knocked off the boat or headed in the wrong direction, she kept on trying. When she asked for help, Maui showed up. She asked him how to teach her to sail. He tells her, "It's not just sailing. It's called Wayfinding. It's seeing where you are going in your mind and knowing where you are by knowing where you've been."

A Divine Wayfinder is believed to have innate abilities to access an internal compass that can help them navigate the complex and uncertain terrains of the mind and emotions. They are seen as courageous truth-seekers who are willing to step into the unknown, find their way, lead the way, and seek a higher understanding. They adeptly use self-awareness to understand their deepest desires. They are keen observers who read the environment, situations, people, emotional undertones, as well as other natural cues to help them traverse the mental and emotional trappings of human consciousness.

As a Divine Wayfinder, you, too, have these innate abilities, as well as a deep understanding of the universe, your place in it, and how you're connected to all that exists. You, too, were born with an inner compass. A compass that helps you find your true north, guiding you toward a life aligned with your destiny and highest good. You, too, possess intense observation skills, thanks to your Intuition, Empathic nature, and Extra-Sensory perception. All of which help you let go of what needs to change and navigate the world's chaotic distractions by revealing what you are passionately and deeply drawn to do. You, too, can engage in dialogue with your inner guidance, thus shutting out the mental chatter that can override your heart.

Don't let these times of confusion, uncertainty, unrest, and divisiveness cause you to believe that you've missed the chance to claim the life you desire and yearn to live. It's not too late, and your efforts are for naught. Now, more than ever, humanity needs you to become a Wayfinder.
